Thursday 1/1/2009 4:23pm - Happy new year!
A new year has begun. Hopefully it will be a good one, it's already on a good start. I was off work yesterday and I'm off today. Went to Jen's for the New Year's Eve party and I've spent the rest of the time lounging around with my boyfriend.

Work has been pretty okay, ignoring the drama between myself and my boss. She's a bit psychotic and I've pissed her off. Yay me!

Jeremy and I have been together for 3 months now. We're still being super cutesy all the time. Aren't we supposed to grow out of that at some point?

If you want to actually stay updated in my life (if you are that weird), I update my Twitter ALL the time. And I have my BrightKite, Flickr, Viddler, and real blog all feeding to it, also, so you can see whenever I update one of those.
Monday 9/29/2008 3:24am - My life isn't busy, I'm just lazy.
I read my friends list on here daily, I just never get around to updating myself. *lol* Upcoming! Irish fest in Weston on the 11th, Cobra Starship on the 19th, Ludo in Texas on the 25th. And we're wanting to hit up Ren Fest some weekend (there's these pirate singer people we MUST see) and maybe a trip to St. Louis for Six Flags. October is gonna be busy busy.

Unlike most weekends, though, this one was pretty low key. Yesterday, I went out to eat with Jen and then went to see Tropic Thunder (finally!) with Jeremy. Me and Jeremy went back to his place for sleepy cuddles and TV. <3 Today I got to wake up to sleepy cuddles and kisses, yay!

But then I had to go to my dad's, and that's always a bitch because he's crazy conservative religious now and my instinct is to argue with those types. *rubs temples* He makes me get angry and twitchy. I can't understand why someone who claims to love America just wants to see us crash and burn so badly.

Anywho, back to the good! Jeremy and I are officially dating now. I can haz boyfriend. XD He's 29 (7 years older than me) and we work together.

Tuesday 9/16/2008 1:23pm - Eh heh...
My life is strange and slightly confusing and pretty awesome. tXc. Rayne>you. "What the fuck? Look at that thing's teeth!" Killing penguins. Rule 4.

A public service announcement from tXc:
Rick Astley for president. He's never gonna give you up, let you down, run around, or desert you.

We are tXc and that means we're better than you.
Tuesday 8/19/2008 2:55am - It's been a bit...
I've gotten all caught up with catching up with Doctor Who that I've forgotten to update. Heh. Stupid obsessions that I get. But, dammit, David Tennant is hot as hell.

So I got an iPhone this last Friday. Actually I'm updating from it because I'm busy watching Torchwood. Heh. :D

And, of course, work work work. Which hasn't been that bad.

iPhone's are awesome.
Tuesday 8/5/2008 1:40am - It's been a while...
I never really have a lot to update this thing with. Well, I kind of do, but it never really seems that interesting to write about. I work, and on weekends me and Jen go out and do stuff (shop). There's a keychain at the Coach store I really want that's a pink heart-shaped leather locket type thing. I think it was like $38, though. Yeah, I'm never going to spend that much on a keychain.

I ordered an iPhone. One of the black 16gig ones. W00t. It cost me $321 and I had to add a new line to my parents' phone plan to get it cheap, but it's worth it. iPhone! :D So, I'm totally going to be literally attached to my phone. I ordered it on Thursday and they said 10 to 21 days, so I have to be patient.

I watched a lot of Doctor Who on BBC America on Sunday and now I'm addicted and I have a crush on David Tennant. And, yes, I know Doctor Who has been around since 1963, but they were marathoning the new Who, so that's what I'm addicted to currently.

I've started fucking around on Facebook quite a bit recently. Link. Add me if you want.

One of my boys is back and I don't have a car so hanging out is difficult. :( And by 'hanging out', I mean 'getting laid'. Wah. *emo*
Friday 7/18/2008 1:25pm - Whoa weird dreams.
Ok, so my dream was kinda weird. I was at this, like, thing. That was kinda like a school sometimes, and kinda like a house sometimes. When it was a house, we were always trying to party or something, but REALLY quietly because someone's mom was totally asleep in the other room. There was this massive game, it was called, unimaginatively, "clothing swap". You could walk up to anyone playing the game (which was all the 100 or so people at the school/house), and swap clothes with them. I remember I started off wearing a shirt I actually own that says I didn't say it's your fault, I said I was going to blame you and jeans. Those were traded for a Marilyn Manson shirt and black bandage pants. Sadly, I do not remember any more of the outfits I wore. Oh, and the strangest part of all was that for a little bit, I was a guy. With a beard. Not a big beard, but still a beard. And I made a comment to the extent of "I'm so glad that my beard doesn't grow any longer than this, so I never have to shave".

Some other stuff happened that I can't figure out how to write down, and people I recognized were there.

How does my mind come up with this stuff? Though I would totally play that clothes-swapping game.
Friday 7/4/2008 4:03pm - So... idek.
So I was off work Wednesday and yesterday. I sat around trying to entertain myself since plans fell through and I was stuck at home. I really hate not having a car. Anywho, I'm off today because it's a holiday. I don't have any plans, and I can't stay up too late because I have to wake up at 5am in order to be at work at 7am. Yeah, we get 1 mandatory weekend every month and weekend hours are 7am to 3:30pm. I usually go into work at 3:30pm, so this sucks for me.

My sister and her children have been staying here the past week because her baby daddy kicked her out again. There's all kinds of drama happening with that, it's a hot mess. And it reeks of white trash, which I don't approve of. Also, it turns out I get really irritated and stressed if I have to be around children for any length of time.

I've been updating my Twitter a lot more recently. Posts on there haven't been making much sense recently, though.

The last few days has consisted of:
black forest ham - This is a video of Panic at the Disco and Kyle Gass from Tenacious D singing a song about ham. No joke. I can't make this shit up, people. A song about ham. Like, from pigs. Which turns into a song about bacon cheeseburgers at the end. I think they are getting some damn good pot and need to share.
What the Buck? - This guy, Michael Buckley. How have I never found this before? He's hilarious! I've been mainly amusing myself with him.
"If I Had A Boat" by Lyle Lovitt - I have no idea why I suddenly like this song. Seriously, no clue. If I had a boat, I'd go out on the ocean; and if I had a pony, I'd ride him on my boat...

Ok, so that's all I think think about to say right now. I had a post all written up yesterday, but then Firefox crashed and LiveJournal lost it. I'm pretty sure I talked about some other stuff in it, but I can't remember now. I'll probably post again later tonight when I remember.
So work is work is work. I love Micah, Amy, Jeremy, and Jason. They make life amusing. Especially Jeremy, he was dancing to Nsync last night. Micah wrote Jason a haiku about hamburgers and hot dogs. My job is boring, but my coworkers are awesome.

I think I may be giving up on relationships for cereal now. My previous boy (who had a girlfriend) is engaged to said girlfriend. And the other.. ehh. I'm giving up. Not in the whole melodramatic "woe-is-me" way, just in the fuck feelings way. That's the good thing about anti-depressants and such. It's easier to just ignore the bad feelings. :)
Monday 6/16/2008 1:23am - Another trip to Oklahoma.
My mom, my aunt, and I drove down to Oklahoma this weekend to visit my grandmother. She starting to get a bit paranoid about burglars and such because she lives waaaaay out in Bumfuck Nowhere. She lives in a valley; surrounded by miles and miles of trees, farms, and Deliverance-level hicks; and it's pretty much pitch black out there at night. My grandfather passed away earlier this year and her two dogs would only be able to take out someone's kneecaps, if that. So myself, mom, and Aunt Janelle went down there to install some motion flood lights. None of us had ever done anything electrical like this, but we're not stupid. Shut off the breaker, don't cross wires, etc, etc. But, imagine us: my mom standing on a step-stool holding the last bit of the old light fixture that was still attached by wires, my aunt standing by with tools and stuff, and me reading over the instruction manual; all of us with cigarettes in our mouths and holding cans of beer. Because if you're doing handyman-type things like that you must have beer. It's a Rule. I'm glad to say that the lights work perfectly and we're damn good.

My grandmother has amazing amounts of hummingbirds that hang around her house. She has 4 hummingbird-feeders; three in the back and one out front, and she has to refill them twice a day. I got a pretty decent picture of them, but this was only about half of the ones flying around.
Hummingbirds! )

Well, right now I think that's just about it. Spent 10 hours in a car this weekend. Woot.
Sunday 6/8/2008 10:57pm - OMG
OMG OMG! So, like none of you will understand why this is so hilarious, but me and Jen totally ran into Jarred and Dani at Walmart. Jarred is my ex's best friend and Jen's ex. Dani is his current girlfriend. Now there's a lot of stuff that has happened that makes this HILARIOUS. And I totally can't stop laughing.
